Woah man...

Awesome voice acting. I honestly have never heard anything as good as this. You have an amazing range of voice which would be amazing in any flash.

The background msuic in some scenes was great and provided depth to the whole thing. Especially liked the one with the demon ending at the beginning. Great voice change. I also was amazed by the little girl one. I can't figure out how you can change your voice so well :O

All in all nice work. Keep it up.

Not bad i suppose...

I don't normally like jazz but i'll try not to be so baised in this review.

Not bad as a whole. the background was a bit too quiet and could've used a bit mroe depth. The guitar was bit too random for my taste but overall not a bad solo and considering u recorded it, i'll give you a bit of leeway.

Quite a good introduction although the saxophones could've used a bit more harmony to them. the synths blended in quite well with the rest as did the bass.

the background was also a bit repetitive but it was well mixed together and the bass sounded quite good.

Not bad work. Could've used a bit more work though...

yes to everything lol, the solo was kinda bad, i can do a lot better. Meh it was fun. I lost inspiration half way through and couldnt think of anything to change the saxes around a but. Meh

thanks for the review :D

Great! man i love your music..

Where to start? I suppose i should congratulate you on another awesome song. Now, let's get down to analysing shall we?

Amazing intro. Piano and bass blended in amazingly and they then gave in quite perfectly to the next part of the melody which was awesome.

Much improved from the original and the drumbeats were great. Good synth samples and a nice varied interlude at 4:29. The reverbed Reverse Cymbal was also great and the background provided a nice amount of depth to the whole thing.

Some synth melodies were introduced a bit too suddenly but the way they provided a varied non-repetitive melody which never got borring overpowered this i suppose.

Great piano ending. I don't normally like endings which end like that but i really want to congratulate you on this one.

It definetely looks like you put in lot of effort into this and it shows.

Great work.

Awesome.

First time i've heard one of your songs but your going straight to my fav authors list. Amazing work.

Still can't believe how u managed to blend Eygpt and Modern so perfectly. Great work.

The solo at 0:36 was purely awesome and the introduction (0:00 - 0:06) provided a smooth and well though out transition into the main melody of the song. The drums started to get a bit repetitive as u overused the kick a bit.

This demo just makes me raving to hear the whole thing which is basically what any demo should be happy with ;)

Great stuff! can't wait for the whole thing ;)

Nice work!

Awesome sounds at the beginnig. Like the cheering.

Don't quite get why u called it midnight as in my opinion, its a bit too action packed to earn the title of midnight, but its ur call i guess.

Naming aside, the melody was awesome. great work on the snares and kick and the drums at the end continued to add the the great blend of rhytm and harmony. The bass was great but the ending was slightly abrupt. Could have used a cymbal or something there to kind of show that the song's finished.

The introduction of new instruments was great throughout the whole song and the interludes and gaps provided some variety so it didn't get too repetitive. Although u could have used a bit more of those.

Like Supersteph54 said "almost flawless" a few negatives got u a nine. Arrange those and u got yourself a ten ;)

Nice work. Like it better then the original. much improved. The Intro was great as it provided a build up for the rest of the song which then started when the bass drum came in. The drum blended in quite well with the melody.

The interlude at 1:17 provided a slight break from the overall melody and u also took care to put in enough of the same melody to provide enough repetitiveness to make a listener fell comfortable witht the melody and enough interludes and bridges to make it as varied as possible.

Like supersteph54 said (Another long review man ;0) it depends what u prefer. If its action packed and fast u like; the original is better. If not, this one is the one for you.

Overall nice work.

Bracksta responds:

Thanks so much for the great review! I found it awesome that you found structure that i made without even realizing i created it, lol, if that makes any sense. I just make what ever feels right and sounds smooth or tight. A negative effect of doing this style of composing is that i didn't pay very much attention to the finer details of EQ. I am now focusing on the finer details. My collab with Gravy will hopefully show this :). Thanks for the great insight! peace brosif

Nice work man!

I thought u couldn't get any better but everytime u put out a new song u jsut amaze me even more. This one rocks. I always love it when u manage to blend everything all together especially in songs like this one.

The drums in the beginning are great and they keep on providing a steady rhytm throughout the whole thing which is something i like. Although, i agree with Supersteph54 about it not having an ending, i appreciate the fact that u wanted it as a loop. Still, it could use a sort of chord or note at the end to make it sound it actually finished, just my opinion.

All in all, great work. Brilliant. U can never stop amazing me. ;)

brilliant :)

Great stuff, love listening to your music man. Loved the flute although there were a few certain places were the pitch wasn't that great. Also, like SBB said, the piano was a bit plain but the guitar mixed in perfectly.

The kicks had a bit too much reverb and the rest of the drums were a little quite. The strings i loved and the rest was purely great.

All in all, i only gave u a nine cause of the few negatives i mentioned. Keep up the great stuff man.

Darklight17

If this is against your better judgement...

...Then u really should listen to your "against better judgement" side more often. ;)

This piece of music is amazing. Although i agree with borgx that 'Lost in the Storm' might not have been the best name for it (maybe 'Eye of the Hurricane' might have been better, dunno...).

I agree with supersteph54 that the blend of sound effects was great and the thunder at the beginning, totally awesome. I also loved the strings which came in at around 1.50

For all of you who don't appreciate this, you really need to get a few lessons in music, not to mention a hearing aid.

Darklight17

Not bad man.

Quite a good effort, but a bit repetitive. I don't think the bass actually fit in fully could've used a bit more harmony. Still got a nine as i don't see anyhting wrong with using presets if u mix them together right and besides, it is ur first effort ;)

Btw, my first two pieces of music finally got accepted. check them out.

Step responds:

Alright thanks... I was never that good with basses, but thanks for the review. By the way, I used presets before but now the only presets are the drums, and I don't think you should use too many presets as your song would get very generic. Thanks again for the review and the nice score - I'll check them out if I get the time ;).
